Newbie problem shots

Hi guys for those with shorter lenses, do not be discouraged by me posting those backgroundless shots. I mean the background does tell more about the habitat of the bird. Like in this case

#1 - Morning, it would have been great if the bird was facing the other way

Or if you really want those clean backgrounds, you may try the sky when it is in a nice blue. Stay at their eye level, but watch out for the blowing of highlights like in this case and watch out for the catchlights:
