How long Nikon take to clean the CCD?

Any ever send the DSLR to nikon for CCD cleaning ?
i think it's 25 bucks..
but how long they take?

will it be any alternative that can be faster?

or anyone know how to clean the CCD ?
i went to CP, no more stock for the cleaning kit....

anyone can help ?

** when i shoot at 22, i see some black dot.... but when shoot around 12, workign fine, and can't notice the dot.....

help help....

Nikon service centre takes about appox 15mins to clean the CCD...

Yes, 15 minutes for cleaning, but the queuing time can sometimes be very much longer!

Yes... you'd be collecting it on the same day itself. As mentioned, it only takes them 15mins to clean.

However avoid going there from 12pm-1pm as all the technical engineers will be out for lunch and you'd have to wait after 1pm to get your ccd cleaned.

Just got back from Nikon Service Center, went in at 10:00am and out at 10:20am, this is for cleaning the CCD, view finder and firmware upgrade. Fast service if you go at the right time.
