Default SFF 8Aug gone wrong

I was late and at the wrong location. All my shots were gone, either with lots of heads covering 3/4 of the fireworks or hand not steady enough. Time to get a taller tripod.

Flower

Rain

Shots taken with ixus700.

Nice "flower" for the first shot. sometime, without even shooting,we will not know what we'll get.

Come to think of it, no matter how tall my tripod, if there's people infront of me, I won't be able to capture the fireworks too. Unless I get one taller than me. But then how will I press the shutter? LOL.

so therefire i think one of a good way is to upgrade your digital camera. so that you can fire it via a remote control. but then again, you still need to see if your composition is good when they fire the fireworks...ha...think the best way is be early and fin a good spot...but i do think that the pictures you posted is not too bad really...like people have been saying, its really how you look at it and what you want to tell the viewers.

Agreed. The first one is interesting, like an abstract work of art, or looks like a red flower on a stem.

Hope u do better for ur next shoot!
