sturridge is a typical striker in the sense that when he lost the ball he won't chase back.

however he has very good movement that of an intelligent forward, with excellent off the ball movement.

balottelli.... haiz.... a pity but he's not suited for our offensive n mobile gameplay.

could've been more and that andre marina-beng referee totally c.m.i. very much against us. pui!

Only saw first half as sick. Balotelli not suitable but I really like his technical control of ball. Close ball control very good.

Sturridge must be feeling great confidence now.

Aim for top 4 only chance with him fit.
    Eat breath LIVERPOOL!!!

Top four might actually be possible. Especially if no one gets injured.

A Good win but hopes are not high as we still only have one striker now and he is very prone to injuries and our bench is very weak. Next few matches are very critical in our chase for top four but I am afraid we are a bit too late and no strikers bought in this transfer window. The only hope will be the 2 cup games where we might still stand a chance. Too bad the Ref didn't see the 2 stomping incident in our semi final game else that CHEAT will be red carded. 3 matches suspension didn't do any justice to us at all.

No matter how much I dislike him, the stats doesn't lie...

The Reds have won eight of 12 Premier League matches in which the Brazilian has started this season - that's 67%. When he has not, they have won just three of 11 (27%).

Steven Gerrard makes his 700th appearance for Liverpool as they attempt to overcome Bolton Wanderers in an FA Cup fourth round replay this evening.

The captain returns to Brendan Rodgers' line-up after missing the weekend win over West Ham United, to seal an incredible personal achievement 17 years after making his first-team debut.

Gerrard resumes captaincy duties, while Joe Allen is also included in the starting XI at the Macron Stadium - the pair are named in place of fellow midfielders Jordan Henderson and Lucas Leiva.

Meanwhile, Daniel Sturridge is again selected as a substitute following his goalscoring comeback from a lengthy injury lay-off against the Hammers last Saturday.

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Can, Skrtel, Sakho, Gerrard, Allen, Moreno, Markovic, Coutinho, Lallana, Sterling.

Here is the draw for the next round. At least three premier league sides will be knocked out. Only Manure, Arse-anal and Wet Sham pose a threat with Arse-anal clearly a better team compared to us.

    Arsenal v Middlesbrough
    Aston Villa v Leicester
    West Brom v West Ham
    Bradford v Sunderland
    Blackburn v Stoke
    Crystal Palace v Liverpool
    Derby v Reading
    Preston v Man Utd
    West Brom v West Ham

Last win at Crystal Palace was in the 997/98 season. Since then, we have played at Selhurst Park 6 times of which we drew 3 and lost 3.
