D70 charger (MH-18) spoiled ...
Hi all,
Can some kind soul advise if thie charge is under the same warranty as the camera? Mine just died on me after a few months ... the led would not light up now ...  also, anyone knows whats the retails price of this charger? , saw someone selling in the BnS for $50 ... or if getting a 3rd party charger replacement is ok? thanks in advance ... |

No harm bringing your cam and the charger down to the service centre. Can get the camera ccd cleaned and then ask if they would replace the charger for you.

Just bring it to nikon service center together with your camera warranty. Mine died after the second charge. Went down, and they replace a new one for me.

Charger should be under the same warranty with your camera. Anyway a new MH18 charger cost ard $50.

I had the same problem. Went to Nikon and they called Alan Photo to give me a replacement FOC. Mine is still under warranty.
