I was wondering if anyone have used a vivitar 728 / 729 AF flash on a d70. I know it would not support iTTL but it should work on manual.
I dont want to fry my d70. Thanks. Last edited by nantasy; 7th August 2005 at 11:42 PM. |

I think you may need to align the flash so that the hot shoe juts out a little on the camera .... then tighten it. This is because the vivitar flash shoe is slightly out of specifications even thought it's supposed to Nikon dedicated.

Was it achieved with the 728? Don't think you can do that with the 729.
