    Default Installing fonts into PS

I have installed fonts into PS CS, however when I tried using them in PS, they turned out to be symbols instead or fin some cases, the fonts can only be use in small caps. What should I do?

you install fonts in your computer and not only PS
the fonts you install can be used by all the appz

Check the font that you installed from another application and see if it behaves the same way as in PS,
if yes, then it is the font so just select another font

Alternatively, just drag the file into the Font folder under \windows\system32\font, it will be installed.
