Out for my usual 1hr shoot at Henry park park, while waiting for my son's lesson to finish.
Today, spotted a orb-web spider that looks like a kidney garden spider but the abdomen was all white. Not too good shots of it though. Also spotted a brown crab spider(poorly taken also), and 2 weevils. One was this same weevil I took here, the first collage shot, but did not take any good shots of it today, but manage to take another one which was close by. Also saw this huge spiky caterpillar with funny colours. All taken with FZ10+6T+Sigma CU, F8, ISO 50, ext flash, various shutter. #1 Caterpillar (appreciate any ID on this!) ExposureTime : 1/200Sec ![]() #2 Caterpillar face (looks like its got a funny hair-do) ExposureTime : 1/125Sec ![]() #3: Weevil (there was another small green crab spider 2 leaves below it) ExposureTime : 1/200Sec ![]() #4: Orb web spider (the abdoment looks like styrofoam) ExposureTime : 1/125Sec ![]() One more pic to aid in ID of spider. Anyone can help ID this spider? Thanks! #6: From the underside ![]()

Mostly, today's post is for help to ID the Caterpillar (#1) and Spider (#4 and #5). Only shots I may be a bit ok with is #2. #2 is interesting look on the caterpillar, and #3, wish the eye were a tad more in focus....
