is there a way to process the pics on lightroom. i am on version 4 and it totally doesn't allow it to be imported at all. will version 5 be able to let me process my pics eventhough the camera is not recognized?

Use Nikon Capture NX-D, convert the NEF files to TIF files and process in Lr

Use 'DNG converter' and then import into LR..

Is the battery direction same as other cams like D800 series? Not used to it yet..lol

Using DNG converter retains the picture profile like camera and lens used? I used to convert NEF files to TIFF in Capture NX-D and I noticed that LR 5.6 cannot identify the lens used when I try to correct the lens distortion.

another option would be to edit the exif info to either the D5300, 610 or 810. That retains the profile for the lens

Is there an exif editor that has a batch mode? What editor are you using?

I just went to nikon showroom to test the D750. It's really lighter, and the deeper grip is more comfortable to hold.

But I noticed that the LED information inside the viewfinder bottom row cannot be fully seen sometimes. Depending on the angle you place your eye at the viewfinder, sometimes it looks like a black shade is partially covering the information row.

Has anyone encountered this issue? Or maybe even in the D7100? I never had this problem on any of my nikon bodies.

Is this your first FX cam? The viewfinder image is bigger on a FX than DX, so you may not be used to it.
