No such service unfortunately. Unless you can find someone here to lend it to you.

good question

remember that the tripods heads here are mostly for still shots and not for video.

i think you mean you need a boom.. a tripod can't go any higher than 2.2m from the latest "wai -extendable human-tripod" I guess.. cos if it's that high.. how would you aim it?

dont think anyone would rent if it's just a mere few dollars,

if it's more than that, then might as well buy a new one.
it will definitely come in useful in the long run.

hmm i got a big boom... hehehe... very very tall... if the boom vertical with the stand, i think about at least 3m no problem... problem is, you need a ladder to be as tall...

otherwise, i think a broom also not bad... like the wai activated dual-pod (we all know wai isn't a tripod... ) with a broom centre column, i think also can go very high...

one suggestion is buy it one new and sell it off later.

The price difference is your rental fee loh...

I can rent you my Slikpro AMT for $10 a day. Deposit will be $250 to returned to you when you return my tripod back . It's got cushion grip in case you are going to bring it to very cold countries so that it won't get stuck to your hand in the cold out there. Highest height (I just measured without fully opened legs = lesser stability though) is 1.72m like that. Carbon body so it's light. Double handles for x and y axis controls. Can hold abt 3kg...a Canon 350D plus Speedlite 580EX, prime lens/75-300mm zoom lens and vertical grip.

If it's not tall enough for you, I have one that can go more than 2m (with legs fully opened). The trade-off is that it'll be more expensive to rent probably like $15 a day. It is tougher and more durable. Very sturdy and can hold more than 5kg.

Let me know if you need one. I have a one really cheapo tripod too. Can rent to you for $2 a day. Wanrning though...it squeaks when you move it or try to adjust literally everything. haha!

Take your pick. SMS me or call me at 92384976 if you want. I have more than enough to spare you. If you need to rent other equipment, please let me know as well.
