Default is fexible housing safe?

is fexible housing safe for diving? can find any housing for my cam so have to use a fexible one... the way the housing works seems safe. it keeps the pressure inside the housing same as the water pressure. so, is it safe to use? anyone tried something like dat before?

safe is too vague....

I'd say it is more restrictive than a firm housing.

if you do decent to deeper depths the flexi housing will be "pushing" onto the controls
