Nikon speedlites are more expensive but very good quality. Which ones depend on your needs. Both the SB50DX (about $300) and the SB80DX (about $ 530) would serve your purposes.

I'd suggest you go for dedicated flashes, pref Nikon Speedlites, so that u can make use of the TTL.

Think I got the answer. Nikon CP uses a "pseudo TTL" and thus, the flash will still work in TTL mode....
anything wrong with the reasoning?from http://www.dpreview.com/forums/read....essage=3512855 Ching-Kuang Shene wrote: > > Tang Mung San wrote: > > Hey guys, save all your money to buy all those full features expensive > > flash gun as all Nikon CP including our 5700s do not support even > > TTL metering.
