Will there a be a successor to the F828?

Sony has stopped its production for the Cyber-shot DSC-F828 series.
It has reached an agreement with Konica Minolta Photo Imaging, Inc. to jointly develop digital Single Lens Reflex (SLR) cameras.

The production for F828 have cease.
But we do not know if there is an "F939" coming out in the market, although many may look forward to.

There has been an increase of prosumer digicams with manual zoom rings and manual features close to DSLR - Samsung Pro815, Panasonic FZ30, and Fujifilm FinePix S9000 Zoom.

My analysis is Sony would not produce any F828 successors as they now focus on more consumer-friendly product lines, like the slim T-series. Even so now when they are collaborating with KM, although it looks like Sony's contribution is only on CCD, infolithium battery, and maybe marketing. In that case, the new branding would most likely be SONY. It implies that Sony will bank on the KM collaboration to cover the F828-type prosumer market, while expanding the product line of slim and fun models purely for consumer market.
