Default Canon IXUS50 or Casio S500

    Hi everyone

I'm planning to get a small DigiCam - torn between Canon IXUS50 and Casio S500. I would like to obtain your views - which would you choose? Or is there another brand/model you would recommend over the two?

Look forward to receiving your opinoin/views!

    Cheers

I would recommend you to buy CASIO S500. It has anti-shake function. It also have a 3:2 mode high resolution (same like DSLR) which allow you to print 4R size (WYSIWYG) no crop at all. Colour output also very good and natural. I think it much better than IXUS50 in term of spec and function.

I think you got fooled by Casio marketing.
    (1) the anti-shake function is "digital" not Optical IS
    (2) The 3:2 mode is a crop The sensor size is 4:3 like all other digicams.

I am a big fan of optical IS. I think Lumix has O.I.S.
