Default how to check shutter count?

i'm using a 300D. now how do i check my shutter count?

IIRC, for 300D (and most of other Canon DSLRs) the shutter count is not user-accessible. You can go down to the Service Centre and ask them to check for you, but I think it costs $21.

The folder name, filename etc. may not be accurate because it can be reset and it does not necessarily run in the same sequence as the number of shutter clicks.
