Hi fred,

Thanks for sharing.
I feel that the DOF for #1 is abit too low. But granted the difficulty of acheiving good depth under field conditions, I find that the left hand bird being in focus (and not the right hand bird) make the picture rather unbalanced. Maybe a change of the framing to follow the 3rd rule abit more may help, but the large expense of blurred subject with the clear subject pushed to one corner of the pix just don't work for me.
