Default Lens Workbook

Hi all,

Just bought the 350D today. Just wondering what is this Lens Workbook about? Yet to collect it from Canon.

Thanks in advance.

It contains practically everything about photography and, of course, about Canon, her history and arsenal of cameras and lenses.
This is the 3rd edition and 350D is so new, it's not in the book yet.
All in all, it's a good reference book to keep.

I would say its a book to entice you to buy Canon lens, esp the L series.

a good reference book for all the current canon lens-line up. a must-have (IMO) for canon-users.

plus, u can also drool on the 200mm L, 300mm L etc...etc...

Hahahaha....I like this one! The reason why I can't redeem it yet is because I'll be away pretty soon for a couple of months or so...that's why very curious!!!

I'll probably get my wife to redeem it for me while I'm away. From what you guys mentioned, sounds like a really good reference book! Thanks for all the replies. Appreciate it!

Until we meet again in a couple of months time, have fun shooting, guys and gals!

I think the other folks here have put it well.

The EF Lens Works III is essentially a thick, high-quality, hardcover brochure. It contains snippets of Canon history, photographic technique, Canon's technology, and most of all, full-color pages of sample images and lens statistics.

Then there's MTF graphs...

Initially I read through this with little interest, thinking that I would not be in the market to get a new lens anytime soon, because I was happy with the range on the kit lens. Needless to say, I got infected by the L virus, as many here have talked about, and I got myself a new lens in no time.

Besides being an expensive lens catalog ($20 if you are buying it), it has a lot of pix some taken by well known professionals.

You better get your wife to redeem it, so as to get her infected with the "L" strain virus. So next time you buy new lenses....... she will not look like this
