    Cool. In my A95, according to the calculator, if I stop down to F8, I can get from 0.94m to infinity. ie it would mean that in daylight, no longer need to focus!

    any idea if this will work on the ixus 30?

    ixus 30 no got manual focus mode....it probably wouldn't work.

    good stuff.. did something similar back in the day when i had my g3...
    some hyperfocal distance stuffs....
