Kerangas forest of western Sarawak

Hi guys,some pix to share. Taken yesterday in a Kerangas forest near Kuching, Sarawak.

Rana chalconota

Earth ball:

Water skink. (Tropidophorus beccarii)

Maroon woodpecker (Blythipicus rubiginosus) - Forgot to bring my tripod....so the image is a bit blur.......

That frog didn't scare of me at all.....my camera is about 5cm away from it but yet it didn't care at all.

That wood pecker is a bit hard to shoot cos it always fly in & out....& in order to take a better shot, I "contribute" a lot of blood to mosquitoes.
