Default In and around Punggol

hi!

some photos to share...

walked around Punggol today(24th July, 2005).
all photos are shot with FujiFilm S2Pro in Raw format.
ISO varies at 100 and 400. White Balance varies.
AFS 17-35 f2.8.
Cokin P Series Filters: Circular Polariser, Sunset1, Graduated Neutral Density, Graduated Tobacco and Graduated Mauve.
Photoshop: Curves and Brightness/Contrast.

how to go Punggol beach?

i live in SK but until now still dunno how to go.

what's the nearest LRT and is it walkable from LRT?

near to which block of flats? thanks so much!

This is my favourite. Like the effect of the filters.

But the soft-focus borders are quite distracting.

hi paul,

the easiest way to go to Punggol Beach is to take the only direct bus, 82. from Serangoon MRT. as for the really precise directions, i can't help u as i'm unfamiliar with the street names around Punggol or with the various landmarks in Punggol.

the roads leading to Punggol Beach are one-lane and it can get pretty dangerous if u're trekking. taking a bus is the safest and easiest.

maybe someone living in the area can direct u better...

ok noted!

should have decrease the transparency level of the first level much more. guess i overdid it.

interesting effects from the filters. but the size of the image is rather small to appreciate the pictures IMHO, agree with melnjes that the borders don't quite contribute to the pictures.

it's best to take bus 82, you won't miss the seaside. the nearest LRT station is not in operation yet, walking there will take quite a long while. though most vehicles do speed along the stretch of Punggol Road, walking is still not too dangerous, cycling is.
