Hi people, got another question. Went to take some pics with my 70-200 f2.8. and this question pop into my mind. When do you send your lense or body for a checkup? (was wondering if my lense have a focusing issue)

Trying using ur 70-200mm on tripod. Might be motion blur due to the weight of the lens.

Gosh i brought my 70-200mm f/4. FInd it pretty heavy, no wonder all my shots not that sharp leh...

The longer the zoom range the more obvious the motion blur, unless u using a very fast shutter speed. Weight is one of the factor, but f4 consider quite light so no worries on that. But for f2.8 it weight almost 2 X the f4, not to mention the f2.8 IS. It's even heavier than a 100-400mm L lens.
If you wanna do a test on sharpenss of your lens, I suggest you do it on a bright sunny day with tripod. |
