Old B&S posts to be removed?

Did a search on B&S recently and results as old as 2002 were displayed...I believe that such old posts can be removed?

If there isnt a storage constraint then why not keep them.
I find searching old B&S posts useful to determine a previous selling price of an item. Can be very useful when bidding for an item.
I have noticed that there isnt too much variation in selling price of some 2nd hand items over time.

We will not be removing old Buy & Sell posts but will implement an "Expiry Date" on threads in Buy & Sell which is currently set at 180 days from the last post date (subject to further refinement/changes if we find that 180 days is too long or too short).

Members will still be able to search for, and view the threads, but will not be able to post a reply to prevent resurrection of an ancient thread eg 2 yrs old.
