Never really shot at Moon before, wanted to try it for some days, but it's been cloudy most time at night lately. Luckily tonight the cloud went away for a while. Got chance to take the following shots from the window of our flat:
![]() I used a 200mm/2.8 lens plus a 1.7x converter. Shot it at F5.6, 1/100s. It's almost the original size (crop) of the Moon in the full image. If only I had a longer lens . After taking some Moon shots, the Moon went up a little bit. I changed to a zoom lens, and take the following shot: ![]() Shot at 105mm, F11, 4s. Then I looked down from the window, saw the quiet but well lit street. How come I never took any shot of it while I've been living here for almost 4 years. Just pointed the lens down and snapped the following one too. Luckily the train just passed by and went into the tunnel when I took the shot, the light trace above the rail track is kinda cool, isn't it? ![]() Shot at 50mm, F16, 30s. But I forgot to enable the noise reduction in the camera setting, the pic had quite a bit small blue dots and some noise too. Couldn't seem to remove them by PSing (did improve a bit though). The resized pic looks okay I guess. Did all these when I was babysitting at home while baby's mom was out shopping around. My 15 month old daughter was so interested in my tripod and camera, she almost tripped over it a couple of times ... Well, I guess I wouldn't mind babysitting again if I can always have this kind of fun ![]() Wish you all a wonderful weekend. Cheers! |
