Here's some shots taken on film from the beautiful Sri Lanka beaches (only managed to hit the developing labs yesterday...)

seen ur gallery and they are very good travel photos.

esp. like the portraits of the local people.

felt the interaction and communication between subject and photographer.
i can feel the warmth of the locals.

#2 exudes an aspiration mode from the distorted silh. I like it.
#3 the 1st shot to attract my eyes ..i like the foamy wave of this pix .
I think the dark foregd. is too much, square crop might be better.
wonder why the horz seem curving, using fisheye?

Thanks Hosea
using 16-35mm center-weighted metering. Quite hard to do metering coz the sunlight was quite intensive so the max compensation I can do is to +1 EV. Yeah... square crop .. can try ..hehe

Thanks Cheesecake for taking time to view thru'

I like #2 and the distorted figure gives the shot its character and movement.

This ain't a fashion / portrait / glamour shot, distortion works fine, really
