    My lecturer spoke ..

Lawyer Amolat Singh told The New Paper on Sunday: 'It's important to establish who the copyright owner is.

'Clearly, only that person can give permission to reproduce or take action.

'Second, it's quite obvious that this model's face was to be used and was indeed used for (the) anti-Aids campaign and such purposes.'

IMO? she has no case to fight lor. once she signed off her rights in the release form, there's very little she could do, even tho the pics ended up in a men's mag. she just have to suck it up, and learn to read the fine print in the future..

    That's what lawyers are for.

The thing was done so many moons ago, and now saying that Maxxim is for men and it's an advocate of AIDS-Awareness program thus they decided to run that issue of Maxxim is a bit far-fetched.

We all know what these men magazines wants to portray & achieve, can understand why Cassandra's pissed, but too bad she didn't expect today. Live and learn.

It's on purpose. The Mag only wants readers and sales volumes, and everybody knows sex sells, don't we. If they wanted to spread the news on AIDS, was there a need to publish her provocative full pic on the front cover and label it as "Female Natale"?

Seems to me they've long consulted their laywers long before they published this issue of Ma**im.

I'm not say in love with her and/or dying to get into her good books so that she can be my gf or model, but the direction and the usage of the photos on Ma**im is really questionable.
