Hi guys, I've tried out the AA battery thingy... made one after I saw don's thread that he's made 1 too. So far I haven't been able to fully deplete the batteries yet. 6 x 2500mAh Sanyo AA lasts me 300+ shots throughout 2 time periods. First one was for 3h, 2nd one was for abt 6h... All without turning the camera off while I was searching for subjects to shoot. Batteries were left overnight without recharging between periods 1 & 2. I guess it'll be able to last much longer than what I've already tested though.

Same as unseen, I got a 6-battery holder for the NiMH AAs, plus I glued a 2-pc & a 3-pc holder together for alkalines. Plug was also bought at SLT basement. Only drawback for me is I have to put the pack into a small bag that straps onto my hand so my hand cannot leave the camera body further than my cable allows me. Haven't figured out a way to secure the pack to the camera body. Any suggestions?
