Default Calling all C4000z users

I think we can set up this thread for us to exchange info and experience. I have some question and I am sure others have too. let me start with this simple question. Do you find your viewfinder doesn't match the picture taken? I find the object will be too high if I put the object at the centre of the viewfinder. does this happen to yours?

another question, what is the set up you have to armor your lens now? step up to 46mm? 49mm? or 52mm? and why do you choose that size?

Hey Dude i wanted to do something like this for a long time already.... but seems that C-4000z users here have like 4?

I'm using 46mm threads...cause the CLA-1 problem i step up to 46 to a UV filter.... that's alll until now still hunting for a suitutable Tele lense.... soon i will be investing in a Flash Bracket and the external Flash Cable...

Until now i still haven't found a decent teleconveter which can be bought in SG.... excpet maybe for the C-210. But haven't got a chance to go down and take a look though.....

But i really like the batt life on this cam turn off LCD can stay on for almost the whole day....

we can always do so now with this thread around. will love to share what I know(even thou I don't know much)

for the battery life, camera using AA size battery usually last longer. This camera last much longer than my Sony I use to have.

how about your viewfinder? do you have the same problem with the viewfinder? or is it just my camera?

I just got my lens adapter. it is really difficult to find the 43mm filter.. so in the end I gave up and try to look for 43-46 stepping ring. in the end I found one shop selling it for $6. bought a lousy UV filter for $8, together with a lousy lens cap for $2. total cost to armor the camera is $32+$6+$8+$2=$48.

with the armor on, I find the showdow effect quite significant... no way you can take macro/close up with flash. I believe even without the lens adapter the effect will be just slightly better. Even with super macro, you cannot take good macro shots unless there are enough light. otherwise have to invest on an ext flash.

I guess my next purchase will be TC. any recommendation?
