Hmm..., it does seems to me the way that ISIL / ISIS (now simply known as "The Islamic State") is getting rather popular amongst the Sunni dominated populace within their limited Sphere of Influence (SOI).

Here we have ISIL / ISIS jihadists clearing up the mess and touching up after their occupation as shown in photographic images released by the ISIL / ISIS Public Affairs Division: Department of Social Media Relations...

ISIL / ISIS Public Affairs Division @ AlHayat Media Center latest "documentary" uploaded on YouTube (note: video may be unavailable after being taken down Google at any moment).

All conflicts in the Middle East are forever hard to settle. Agree with UncleFai, US has thrown billion of investment there, It won't cease involvement there.

Israeli prime minister, Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu has officially express its support for the establishment of an independent Kurdish nation within the present Iraqi Kurdistan autonomous region in contrary to United States (US) Secretary of State, John Kerry's recently announced statement emphasising United States (US) repeated stance for the much required perseverance of an unified Republic of Iraq, and further drawing flak from the Government of Turkey [01] [02] [03] [04] [05].

The Kurds are not going to give up this golden opportunity which comes once in a thousand years, really.

The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) will soon be holding a referendum again (in 2005, 98.98% of 1,993,663 Kurdistan voted in the positive) on the issue of independence for the Kurdistan autonomous region which including the northern states that has a Kurdish majority population is an area almost a good portion in size of the entire Iraqi Republic.

But Iran and Turkey will make sure it never happens and that the status quo stays that way, the last thing they will want is an Israeli sponsored satellite state right at their door step.

What on earth can they do beyond bombing them? Economic strangulation? How will Turkey pass up the opportunity for cheap oil? As it is, Turkey agreed to sign deals with Kurdistan with regard to the development of oil fields. I think given the push, they will just accept it anyway.

Make no mistake. The Kurds have been screwed around by just about any ethnic group there, from the Turks, Persians, to the Arabs for centuries. There is no way in hell are they going to let any of them boss them around again.

As for the United States, as it stands, the disintegration of Iraq will mean a massive loss of face, and that the country just wasted over a trillion US dollars and 4,500 lives all for nothing. That's the scale of the disaster. Now let that sink in first then be appalled at how much money just got flushed down the drain.

In this shocking despatch from Iraq's frontline city of Irbil, the Mail on Sunday's IAN BIRRELL meets the terrified victims of the jihadists' remorseless, violent and bloody advance through Iraq. In their stronghold city of Raqqa in Syria they crucify those who disobey (left), while giving awful ultimatums to anybody who won't fall in line with their extremist version of Sunni Islam. They have been particularly virulent in their pursuit of the Yazidi minority, whose people have been left stranded (like the child, pictured right) on barren Iraqi mountains dying of hunger and thirst but too petrified to come down and face their persecutors.

In an extremely rare moment of concession involving the use of military forces by the United States of America (USA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the People's Republic of China (PRC) has expressed its support as the Americans conducts round the clock bombardment against equipments and personnel of the "Islamic State (IS)" while standing in solidarity with the Iraqis (and her massive investment in Iraqi interests) [01] [02].

In response, the "Islamic State (IS)" announced they will bring the jihad to the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region as it was revealed that flocks of Chinese Uighurs are now receiving training from the "Islamic State (IS)".

Pope Francis expresses disbelief, outrage and shock as the "Islamic State (IS)" is filmed beheading young childrens of the Christain faith and burying women alive [01] [02].

Italy is now contemplating sending in armed military forces into Iraq to defend and safeguard Christian minorities from a genocide [01].
