Talking Anyone knows how to create slide shows of photos?

    Hi all,

Anyone know how to create a slide show of photos which include wordings to present to people? For example like events or wedding photographers, they present the photos they took to their client in slide show/movie form with nice captions and wordings.

Do I need a software or how do I create it?

    Thanks in advance.

i think picassa has this feature? for mac, u can always use iPhoto.

other software u can consider are memories-on-tv (locally developed shareware, cost ard $20 for the lite version at challenger), or pro-show gold (shareware, but more expensive).
If Life worked on auto mode then manual mode for photography would have never existed. ― Deeksha Mittal

If that does not work for you, Irfanview (freeware) can do it too. Just Google for Irfanview do find the download site.

    There's SwishPix at SwishZone.

It's not free but costs only US$30. It's not too shabby because it can port out to .exe files which can be distributed via email or CDROM's. It also allows you to add music and also has bult-in themes.
Furthermore, it's primarily meant to port out to Flash movies so you can immediately host your albums on your online photo galleries..

you can use Window Movie Maker as well! Can put in music with fade in/out, the photo display can be fade in/out or other transition you can see on TV, shows etc. Quite good.

So far have tried memories-on-tv, pro-show and Photstory...

Photostory has a limitation of not more than 300 photo per
    show.

Memories-on-tv can use external encoder like TMPGEnc

Pro-show is most user friendly and has the best quality output on VCD format.
