2nd pic gets my vote. Somehow my eyes feel comfortable with the blue and BW bg. I like the composition as well.

definitely lacks the impact, that's why i say in the critique thread that that is the only angle i wanted (straight on frontal). since there were suggestions for alternative angles, so i tried a series of them and see how everyone reads into them.

yah. i changed the colour scheme because i personally think the surroundings don't contribute to bringing out the blue netting. as originals they do not speak to me as much as the frontal shot, so i want to see if i can give them a new life by this post processing.

I don't know, but this one works for me...I feel that the worker gives context to the original message of the foreigners working for freedom...

thanks guys for the feedback, really appreciate it. it's not an easy theme to grapple with and hopefully the 2nd series will be better.
