Hi if you are looking at this kindly teach me how you manage to get big picture for the avatar, try many time to reduce size using PS but picture size is like 1 grain of rice if not smaller for 14kb. WHY??

wah this is the smallest avatar i ever seen. i clicked on ur avatar's properties and it shows 8970 bytes with size 3 x2 pixels lehz ....
as for me i always change the longest side at 100 pixel then slowing reduce the image quality till it gets smaller than 15kb. |

Easiest way to do this is to use the "Save for web" function in PS7 and higher, after you have already resized the image to 100x100 px. Works all the time.

Have you tried Irfanview? It usually does a good job of reducing pics. Just change the longest side to 100 pixels and make sure that the dpi is 72. Even if you save at minimum compression jpeg it should be pretty small and still sharp.
