Question Possible to shoot NDP fireworks from the highrise hotels?

For example from the windows or bacolny? Which hotel has the clearest or
opennable glasses and which hotels has baconies? Walking arround in the
dark is hot and might lose lens caps etc..

The best place would be from the Swissotel (Westin Stamford) but all the good rooms were booked up months ago! I know, because I phoned to try and book one about three weeks ago. Guess the Ritz-Carlton would be a second choice but no balconies

haha, actually the rooms are fully booked for a long time liao. i heard that people have already started booking the rooms since Feb...

as for Ritz-Carlton, yah, you might be able to get some shots but the rooms there are so expensive (6 star hotel...). alternatively you can try taking the pic from the Shears Bridge but be there early, i think lots of people will be there....

Since it's at Padang... The rooftop of Fullerton may be ideal, not too high, not too low. Wonder if they rent out the lighthouse on top for function these days...

I see. If that is the case, how about group-rent a water taxi boat and stop in the
middle of singapore river, thow I worry about the shakes and moves.

I see. Maybe I will follow the crowds and find a place with the most cameras
    and tripods.

That will be disastrous as well as you will be too late to "CHOP" place! :P

Sheares Bridge shd be a safe bet. Esplanade bridge, if it's passable will be good also.
