One of the most beautiful wedding I have covered. Great venues, pretty people, nice decorations, lovely flowers and good entertainment. This will be done in a coffee table which i will share later...here are some featured photos to share first...cheers!

once again...never get bored of seeing your shots...
all the scenes looks like nicely planned...to the extent that all shots looks so great.. from your shooting style, 2 things can be found: 1) very very good use of lightings... 2) very very good finger control - click at the right time.. 3) very very natural ..and its real natural..- I hate posed shots..hehehhe 4) improvements can be seen each time...though you can take the same angle as your previous shots, simple to say - "same composition but just different feel each time.." common guys, no need to comment the same old thing again and again...-great work..so nice..etc..hehhhehe...cos you just cant find bad shoots from Kelvin you know..hehehhehe ![]() |

thanks for your extremely generous compliments but oh dear...i have to learn to hide my bad shots better now...cos i do have lots of bad shots too! =) I generally shoot about 400-550 shots in a wedding of which i pick only 300 or more if the couple requests so. Having a digital camera helps I guess to immediately ascertain if the shot is right and if its not, delete! Hahah I actually shoot quite a lot "off-the-hip", which means I am not looking through the eye piece. I estimate and shoot. Most of the most natural tilted shots are captured this way. Also, I keep a close look on happenings...like when i saw those kids play, I had my eyes and lens on them... i had the 135 f2 fixed on at that time...and i went with it altho it was a little too long but sometimes...your shots wont wait for you you have to chase it and shoot it. Being familiar with the location and the guests helps too cos it allows you to predict their action better and to compose your shots better. Knowing the location well also allows you to appreciate which areas would help make the best backdrop for your shots. I hate posed shots too altho sometimes, you have to admit, it is neccessary. The expressions of the guests are naturally important too but they wont open up to you if you dun open up to them or make the effort to talk and mingle with them... no one...including me likes a stranger to poke his lens towards you and say..smile smile smile! =) Lastly, these points might sound like your usual outr of the mill advises but they are very often forgotten on the day of the shoot...my advise? Make a concious effort to remember but you wont be able to grasp all at once...take some time and shoot more....ultimately, you will have more experience...
