Caught this little grasshopper (?) under a blade of lalang guarding her eggs. I did a close crop to emphasize on the head and eggs. What do you think? TIA!

hey man that isn't a grasshopper. I love these macro shots. Would have preferred a slightly deeper depth of field to include the head of the bug and slightly more room on the left.

quite nice but lighting a bit too harsh and incomplete in terms of composition?

Wow! Really close-up pic that is very intriguing. Composition is good.

The antennae at the top left should not be cropped off. Depth of field can be higher so that everything can be in focus.
