It's a learning process though in this digital age anything goes. Nice try.

when we say shoot night scape, we don't really shoot at night, we only shoot during dusk hours, when the sky starts to turn black, that is the time we pack up and go home or go maken dinner lim kopi.

usually I just hit delete button whenever I see such photos.

I believe your attitude needs more help than your pictures.

Dont be surprise if someone wants a fee for 'helping' you edit your pictures.

Many people are just like you, don't know that is the bad timing.

some photographers still shoot around 8.00pm or later, as this is the time where lighting show starts, but they are doing multiple frames blending, and already took their base photo during the blue hours.

and some photographers do take photos after mid night, usually the theme is Insomnia or sleepless night in somewhere somewhere.

Sky looks awful in the first edited photo. Too much brightness added in both.

Shooting landscape/cityscape after the blue hours will give you black skies (if not light polluted skies). And usually dark (black) skies are boring, especially if the sky occupies a substantial amount of space in the frame. Unless there is something relatively interesting in the black sky, I'll generally avoid it.

Many people taking pictures at that time doesn't necessary mean that it will turn out nice. Their purpose of shooting may also be different. You may even realize that some are shooting landscapes with their flash ON and hoping that the flash can light the subject 100m away.

Also, as like DD mentioned, garbage in, garbage out.

For a start, I will encourage you to look at other's photographs of the same place.

Well if you are looking for inputs just for the editing alone,

    1st picture,
    Reduce the exposure.
I think you can add in some NR on the 1st pic for the sky.
Put a mask over the sky & add in strong NR, add saturation for some pop on the sky.
Add in some sharpening on the lower half with a mask, don't over do it or else it will be very noisy.
The shadow recovery might be a tad too much, made the foliage looks unnatural.
Add in some saturation after shadow recovery.
    Adjust the vertical & horizontal.

    2nd picture,
    Not bad....
Too much shadow recovery...Add some saturation
    reduce the exposure
    Reduce the highlight hot spot.
    Adjust the vertical & horizontal....

There are tones of photography tutorials can be found in Youtube, all these are free to view, if you would spend some time watch some videos, I'm sure you will learn something.

TS, not bad for the 1st edit.
    perhaps you could also try;
    1. Noise reduction
    2. Backlight correction
    3. Correct white balance.

As others have already said, one can't always rely on PP to "save" photos.
    Keep shooting!
