Default Iguana Shot with Man-made Objects

Here's what I did....can try more next time.
Any comments?

Good! Try get some mahjong paper and use that as background instead of the wall.

Try not to block part of the tail off, though.

How about you get on your hands and knees and let the iguana "ride" on top of you?

Well, i like the shot, but my nit would be the fact that it isn't looking at you.

Anyhows, try various poses.

Haha, your iguana looks really bored and perhaps a little irritated at the "stupid poses he's making me do". Do keep the ideas flowing though; it looks like this is going to be a rather interesting series.

Btw, on a more technical note, is it just me or does the iguana's greenish skin look rather unnaturally bright, at least compared to your previous shots...?

It's best to show the greenish of the reptile...it shows that it's healthy.

All my photos seem very poorly saturated and with a greyish cast.




I'm trying to get a sharper, brighter effect sort of like this:




Using photoshop's lighten/brighten doesn't quite do it. I think I have to selectively adjust individual color ranges rather than the whole photo.

Anyone care to give a crash course in photo retouching?
