Difference between fx7 and fx8?

Just wondering what's the difference between these 2? I understand that fx8 newer than fx7 (duh) but besides tt, what else is different? and which is a better buy?

i called up mscolor and they quote me 630 for fx7 and 640 for fx8? difference of 10 bucks only? and i remotely recall reading somewhere tt they got a quotation of 560 for fx7? hmmm, anyone can gimmie the estimated going pr for these 2 cams too? thanks

Use equote!
Go to MS Color site and use the equote!!
The price I gotten via equote is $619.50 after GST for FX8 plus a 256MB SD,
case & LCD protector.

One different I known of is more power saving on FX8 with the big LCD screen.

Do a search here and you should be able to find more differences.

Take more pic with same batt compare to FX7.

FX-8 can take 300 ++ shots while
FX-7 can only take 190 ++ shots.

with OIS off
fx8 can take 300 pics
fx7 can take 120 pics

with OIS on - is about half.

fx8 is abit thicker. due to bigger battery

Going to oversea soon need to get a extra battery. Does anyone know has FX8 batteries arrived singapore?
