hi eow,
from the shadows, you took the IR pics during the day? I thought they were best taken at night?
cheers

Hey eow,

Those are very good first attempts. I particularly like the shot from the pedestrian bridge

Would like to see more shots from you.

Where is this AMK Garden West, anywhere near the AMK MRT STN?

Thanks Teerex,
must said that this Ir Photography is really fun
The ability of able to turn simple ordinary landscape into something surreal and alien is really cool

Amk west Garden is only a few minutes walk from the Mrt

And yes the bridge shot is my favourite too

Is it around the area opposite the mrt where there are shophouses and food centers, Mac and where MS photo is.

Sorry but I'm not familiar with AMK, but thanks.

I find IR fun and addictive, especially getting different effects during post processing and different White Balance and IR filters.

Will go sometime next week, hope to get some nice shots like yours.

Cheers

depending on yr look
one handsome cser i know of get it at $35
whereas for a plain guy like me the cheapest quote i get is $40[ms colour] $45[ap]

in the end i get it 2nd hand from one of the cser

In case u asking...yes the fz1 work really well with the ir filter..infact it the most ir sensitive among all the fz series

u the first in the pana forum to had the ir filter

there mentioned of the fz1 ir sensitivity in pana forum at dpreview
abt being more sensitive than the other fz series
i dun do much just
1]fit in the ir filter
2] white balance against either the sky or any greenery
3] a minium of shutter speed of at least 1 sec
and some adjustment thru picasa2
