(16 July) Hillview Avenue Outing Changed to Seletar West Farmway 6

I am organising a trip down to Seletar West Farmway 6 Housing Estate, which was just abandoned. All are welcome, and I will be providing the details of travelling there and from, and some historical facts about the housing estate.

The trip should begin when we assemble at Ang Mo Kio Temporary Bus Interchange.

Date: 16 July 2005, Saturday
Time: 4:30pm to 7pm
Venue: Seletar West Farmway 6 Housing Estate
Meet-up: Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange

Equipment: Camera, mobile phone for easy communication (the estate is rather huge). Insect repellent; an abandoned site, and you never know.

The trip had ended.

Thanks to the 12 persons who made the first outing I ever organised such an experience.

Sorry, but I think I'll have to back out. I just realised I can't make it on Saturday, unless it's slightly later, like 4.30 at AMK. I only finish work around 3.30 at CCK area.

The place is quite easy to find, actually. I will meet you at the temporary Bus Interchange or the Jalan Kayu bus-stop if necessary at a time you are comfortable with.

Updated Travel Plan

Meeting Point: Berth of SBS 86, Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange
Meeting Time: 4:30pm (Unless noticed beforehand, we are not waiting for anyone)

I am expecting to arrive at the housing estate before 4:50pm, and from there, we will have quite some time to gather and for the photoshoot. We should be able to catch the sunset, casting orange rays on some of the buildings.

Leaving Time: 7:30pm

Although its stated as 7:30pm, you may leave at anytime you wish. Of course, to not spoil the purpose and fun of the trip, you might want to stay on till 7:30pm.

Unless we are going for a dinner, I will part you guys at the bus-stop, where I would board a bus to the Seletar Camp, to board SMRT 858.

No, that would be slightly too far. Alight at the bus stop that says "BEF SELETAR WEST F'WAY 4", or the third after the bus drives into Jalan Kayu.
