    Default Slightly Dark Photos.

    Hi guys,

I just need an advise. I am currently using the 300D.
I always tot it was the monitor until recently when I download to another computer, similar he white seems fine, But in general slight dark side on the non white area.

I am not too good on the white balance thing. Should I compensate by utilizing the EV compensation?

    Any feedback is welcome.

Post some samples for us to see. In any case you find the pics slightly dark, doing a +1 on the EV compensation does help a bit. The 300D tends to give a slightly underexposed shot.

not sure about the short-comings of the 300d, but it might be a issue of (im)proper metering.
