read on other forums that the blasts are not actually targeted at the olympics for if it was directed to the games, then it would have happened a few days earlier, which might ruin London's chances of hosting totally. Instead its directed at the first day of the G8 meeting

Terrible.I'm waiting to see what the UK response will be.

Anyway Charing Cross station has a unexploded package, and the police are clearing the area right now.

Right next to the news of London bombs, they write about Chirac being roasted and the british being toasted.

Really shocking, especially when I think about how my wife and I were commuting to and from work just three weeks before in central London. Please pray for the people of London.

Purpose of Olympics is to bring countries together. If the bombing was due to countries not being able to host Olympics and hence bomb other countries, what's the purpose of the Olympics?
(This statement is only valid if the bombing is done by agents of losing countries...)

Honestly, I don't think it's the Muslim terrorists. Why do they always point fingers at them when something bad goes wrong in one of the 1st world countries??

They are too convenient a scapegoat.

Now, I'm fretting because my cousin lives in Central London with her mother.

Angry London kenna terrorist attack. Train & bus systems hit.

LONDON : At least six blasts have rocked London buses and underground stations leaving two people dead and scores injured a day after the city won its bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games, and as G8 leaders gathered in Scotland.

According to international news reports, the attack was carried out by a organisation that calls itself the Secret Organisation Group of al-Qaeda [literally the base] of Jihad Organisation in Europe.
