Hi friend... You definately need more than the 128mb card... Trust us on that one...

You wouldn't want to stop shooting halfway to copy pics into your friend's comp...

Now that it is summer there, should have sufficient sunlight for you.

Not sure what do you want to shoot. If you want to shoot the competition which is indoor, be ready to have flash light, either internal or external.

The rest of the info will not be able to immediately load up to your brain just like this. Basic things are:

1. Aperture setting
2. Shutter speed setting
3. ISO setting
4. White Balance setting
5. Basic framing knowledge

And of course, if you can, bring along a tripod, you will never know when do you need it.

Go Mustafa and buy...less than S$50 and you should be able to get a pretty decent tripod.

I have 3 tripods with me, but I am flying off tomorrow morning, dun think so we have time to meet up.

May be a blessing if you cannot find one, you will carry less weight.

Why don't you ask someone shoot for you during concert, then we get to see you in action?

If it is an indoor concert, you can use iso200 for wide angle, iso400 for zooms. Use P mode. You should be able to get some presentable 4R print, even at the noisy iso400.

Select picture size of 1280 will still produce good 4R, and fitting more pics in your smaller capacity card.

wow.. superb and sensible advise..
I suggest get a loan from your parents or something. don't miss the opportunity to take back memories.. try to get a bigger card. 1 day of avg shooting for me when i'm on a trip is about 1+gb... so if u don't take at 5MP, i suppose u can survive with a 512 card. using a 5MP camera to shoot 1MP is v v silly to me, esp if it's travel photography..

Thanks for all the replies, but I don't think I can afford to ask them for anymore loan, due to family matters... so in the mean time, have to borrow from friends first..

I would like to bring holland back to you great guys in pana forums..so pray that my 128 card and one batt can last me at least for a day shooting...
