    Default Hyperfocal distance

    what is hyperfocal distance? Wanted to ask this a long time ago. I have come across this word several times in photography books but still dun understand. Does it apply to digicam?

    The distance at which everything from THAT distance to infinity will be in focus. Something like that.

    as to what constitutes 'in focus', depends on what sort of circle of confusion you're looking at...
