    This looks rather interesting.
I like the waterproof feature and the ruggedness as I do quite a bit of water sports and adventure activities.
I also like that it has GPS since most of my photography is during travel.

But then this actually is a compact, based on the much smaller sensor size.
It's a compact with interchangeable lens priced like a 4/3 size camera...
Also, I majorly don't like the controls, which is geared more towards a point and shoot style, than manual.
Anyway, how does the IQ compare with all these other cameras mentioned with larger sensors like the EM1 and XT1?

Otherwise, it seems that the EM1 and XT1 are my best options, if I am willing to compromise on the weight slightly.

The best photographer is one who is inspired by the innate nature of his subjects.

2.7x crop vs 2x crop... that much difference? so what is a compact or what is not a compact.

Shot with the older Nikon V1... I think a lot depends on the user behind the cam... and yes, you can shot in manual too...
BTW, when i bought the Nikon V1, it performs better than the EP-L3 which i tested.
