    Question Air Ticket price

I already booked my ticket but done in March. I went to check yesterday, the price went up by $700 ($850 if I choosing my seat). So, what is/are the reason for a ticket to went up so much? I really surprise on it and really lucky enough to book it early.
    Only Sony device mostly, haha!

Airline yield management is quite complex, they have limited allocation for different class...you probably got the cheapest class when they open the flight for booking.....towards the end, passenger has to pay higher and higher usually those last minutes or business traveller who company pay for them...

Simple answer is that the price didn't 'go up', just that tickets offered early on are discounted to encourage sales. As a flight gets fuller, travellers get closer to paying the full fare.

Off-peak ticket is also cheaper too.

Wise to boon early if you already decided where you want to go.

It's the standard business model of airline companies

The closer u r to your flight date, the more expensive the ticket.

The reasoning is if a passenger needs to buy a ticket closer to the.flight date, the more desperate the passenger is. When he needs to fly, he needs to fly. It's usually not a choice anymore.
