Hey all, i read in these threads, how flash is used in daylight as well as fill flash. went through the manuals of the d70 and sb800, yet didnt find anything which mentioned fill flash.
is it therefore a mode we set? or do we just use normal flash modes to take the pictures? |

Manual of the SB800, page 37, Automatic Balanced Fill-Flash Mode:
TTL BL You may dial the flash compensation + or – to you preference. Hope this help. |

fill flash is the use of flash light to fill in shadows in the daytime.
Expose for the bright areas and use the flash to fill in the shadows with some light. Try it. I use it for macro shots all the time. Until I get my hands on a SB800
