Let's not forget that Yaw Shin Leong unburdened with political duties probably has the time to indulge in photography too.

Well, shall we say they are "forced" into photography because of their Facebooks [assuming, of course, they take the photos themselves]. And then later, discover that, hey, it is quite fun!
And then they decided to visit CS forum. Who knows, they may lurking among us. LOL

lets give him the benefits of doubt.

Since he said he took it, guess should be true. He is a man of integrity.

I think there is a photo somewhere of him with an expensive film camera hanging around his neck when he was young. He must have been taking photos for many years as a hobby.

You mean this one ? Looks like he is holding a Yashica 35mm film camera.

    Don't be so naive.

He says he took the pic. Yes, he may have taken the pic, BUT someone else may have done some processing and cropping it to size and proportion before posting.

    U never do before meh??

That Flower pic is back lighting and over exposed ... Nice meh I don't think so ! The church pic is very well taken but could be photo shopped as the painting on the dome usually appeared dark because of the height and curvature. Not easy to get the exposure on center alter, side wall and the ceiling of a dome all correct without external lighting source which I think was used on this shot.

Actually Tan Chuan Jin does dabble a fair bit in photography and also scale modelling.

Let's be objective and know that these people are human who also have hobbies, like you and I.

    ya, right.
esp there is evidence that he started the hobby since young.

that Yashica camera is a very nice one IMO. Put all current compact camera design to shame. LOL
