Are you one of those guyz at the stage? Your shots frankly speaking are not very impressive. Why are you taking the back of the artises? Should have taken some full body shots. Tanya have lots of beautiful dance move and the Jazz Kids too. If you took these with your long lense from far, well than can understand. Too much unnecessary stuff on the stage that block the view; esp the speaker table in the middle of the of the stage!

On a second look, i like the Taufik 1st pic. Good capture on the expression.

Thanks for taking time to comment. I was around the back part of the stage but not quite on it like the "official" chaps. Yes, a long lens.

No prob if the shots are not impressive. Its the feedback that I want, so I can learn.

There were a lot of "back" shots from where I was, but I did at least try to get some sideway ones - or ones that at least showed some face.

The table, the fact that performers were facing the wrong way were all disadvantages of my position.

So I tried for a different perspective - we always see pics of performers from the view of the audience but not always what the crowd is like from the performer's view.
