Uncle, new gear, new specs, new capabilities, new work-flow.

now you got more than enough megapixels... very wasted if u dun crop to expose the details that the bigger sensor can capture.

i remember looking at the full size 645Z sample images on ricoh's website... seriously, if zoom in, can even see the model's nose-hair. no joke. think of what kind of details it can capture on bugs/.

Yea.. That's what I was meaning to say, sometimes the subject is just so much smaller then the physical sensor itself, so can try to crop in to see what are the details captured.

I have used Raynox 250 on my mamiya 645 80mm f2.8 and 150mm f2.8 on 645AF film slr, both works great.

on 80mm lens, it has some falloff on corners, but on 150mm, it does 1:1 macro for a portrait lens and whole area looks good.

here is the image, shot at f8, I think with crop 645 sensor, the raynox would be even better.

tks for sharing the crop water droplets.

The 150 f2.8 is good for XMM shooting from some distance. The 80 mm f2.8 is almost the same as the 75 f2.8 which I owned. I have gotten a 67 104 f2.4 lens but no adapter yet. someday will borrow from you the 150 if you don't mind ie if oceanpriest remembers to Jio me along to shoot XMM

I wonder how the Olympic sonnar 180/2.8 in Pentacon mount will look on the 645z.
    Thats close to a 144mm f2.2 on 135 format. (or close to a 135/2)

The latest version is now a monthly subscription ($13/month). They've changed the model somewhat, instead of heavy upfront costs, you pay like handphone bills. The good thing is of course that you don't need to see the lump sum and get updates (supposedly) automatically. So technically there will no longer be new Photoshop versions, it will just be a constantly updated Photoshop CC and some goes for Lightroom (though they've numbered it as Lightroom 5). The bad thing is that in the long run you probably ARE paying more. That said, have to keep in mind that you will always have the newest version (so I think it's still cheaper overall if you do the quick math based on previous trends of Photoshop releases).

tks, Bernard. This set up I need tripod or monopod. Very difficult to hand held cos of its weight, 2Kg to 3 kg if I add in those flash and macro bracket. Anyway gotten a sirui T2204X 15 kg max weight, steady imho and attractive price.

Tks for sharing this review.. Probably the value has inch up after this review, 10 % more

    IMGP0493 by luctomar, on Flickr

This one on tripod. the above shots was on tripod but there are some I took using HDR in camera, so I am not sure which is which.. anyway, not in anyway trying to prove sharpness or capabilities of the camera. I leave it to the other experts. I am only enjoying the camera and what I see thru my eyes

    A crop of the above.

    Ming Thien's review part III

    http://blog.mingthein.com/2014/07/15...ong-exposures/

His shot of the building and the open balcony is what impressed me.

The highlights and shadows all exposed nicely in one exposure.
