Default Camera Write Speeds and Memory Cards

Hi guys, just wondering if there was a compilation of the Write Speeds of various cameras, specifically Canon cameras and the 60D.

I was searching around and some results that came up mentioned that the Write Speed for a 60D was 21MB/s. Since MegaBytes and Megabits are usually mixed up these days, I was wondering if the 21MB/s is indeed MegaBytes or is it Megabits used wrongly.

If the former is so, then getting a 30MB/s Sandisk SDHC would basically be sufficient, taking overhead into account, right?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Serious websites as the one given by daredevil123 don't do that. The writing as MB/s clearly indicates that Megabytes are used here. Otherwise the English speaking world uses Mbps to indicate link speeds in "Megabits per second"
